- My Freelancing Story

I started my Freelancing Career during my last semester of University Life. I started offering services in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Data Analysis, but with time I shifted myself to WEB/APP Development to get bigger clients and projects. In my first year, I learned a lot from the mistakes I made. With consistency, I keep increasing my earnings over time. Now I am a Top Rated Plus Freelancer on Upwork, earning $10000 Per Month. Long Story Short, I achieved my Target before time and lived my life with financial freedom at the age of 24, and standing as a Successful Freelancer.
2. Join Freelance Platforms

Freelancing Platforms are important in the journey of a Successful Freelancer. I started my Journey on the Fiverr marketplace, I become a Level Two seller in 6 months period by completing more than 100 orders. To see it, you can look at the screenshot I took 1.5 years ago, Fiverr.png attached below. But I left the Fiverr after 1 year due to small business clients and moved to Upwork, but for beginners Fiverr is best, if you make mistakes in your starting journey, go with Fiverr Marketplace. When you gain some experience in your skills and expertise, I will recommend moving to Upwork.

3. Consistency

Why do most people fail in Freelancing? The huge reason is not having Consistency. They want to become rich in one night, which is not possible. They have to wait to win projects and make long terms clients. Without Consistency, no one can become A Successful Freelancer. Focus on your target, and give proper time on a daily basis to win projects.
Remember, no Success without Consistency.
4. Communication Skills

Communication with your clients plays a very important role in Online Earnings.
Effective communication at the freelance marketplaces is the key to establishing strong relationships and getting important projects completed particularly, while you’re managing freelance and remote colleagues. Obviously, communication doesn’t just feel better, however, it likewise shows results. To get more clients, communicate well.
5. Skill Polishing

Most freelancers failed due to a lack of skills. If you want to become a successful freelancer, then you will need to keep your skills up-to-date in order to gain more expertise in your area of the field to build long-term relationships with your clients. In the Freelance marketplace, work quality matters. If you did not improve your skills with time, you will lose your clients and it will be difficult to get new clients. Read articles, watch tutorials, and keep your eye on every new update, so you can update yourself, and stand up in the era of competition.
6. Pricing and Negotiations

Pricing and Negotiations are important factors in winning Freelance Jobs. Budget Negotiations are the most common factor to win jobs. If your client is offering you a very low budget, explain to him why the budget should be increased because if you don’t have pricing and negotiation skills, it will be difficult to get the job within your desired budget.
I shifted the $800job to $10000 by using my Negotiation Skills. You can do it as well.
7. Be Active and Responsive

Be Active and Responsive with your clients, because you are working virtually. To build strong relationships with your clients, make sure to respond to them quickly. If you are going offline due to some reason for a short while, inform them before you go. So be an active and responsive Freelancer if you want to become a Successful Freelancer.
